Preview: Spurs will face Aston Villa this Sunday in the West Midlands fresh from their three nil defeat against Dortmund in midweek. Pochettino’s men will be looking to bounce back with three points against a Villa side who sit rock bottom of the premier league. The villains are effectively down having accumulated only 16 points from 29 matches this season. However Remi Garde’s men will certainly be no pushovers and as always an early goal is imperative for Spurs, as the quicker the lads can put the game to bed the better, as Pochettino will have one eye fixed on our second leg encounter against Dortmund in the week. I am extremely confident that we will defeat Villa comfortably tomorrow afternoon and I believe Dele Alli will be key to carving open a fairly timid and disorderly Villa defence. COYS⚽️

Team news: Dele Alli returns to the squad after missing our Europa league game in midweek to a UEFA suspension, whilst Eric Dier also returns after being rested in midweek. It’s good news regarding Danny Rose as the left back is fit for the Villa game after the 25 year old picked up a minor injury in the north London derby. However Jan Vertonghen and Clinton Njié remain sidelined through injury. Kyle Walker and Danny Rose are likely to return to the fullback positions having not been involved in mid week.

My predicted lineup: (4-2-3-1) Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Rose, Dembele, Dier, Son, Alli, Eriksen, Kane.

My predicted score: 4-0 Spurs with goals from Kane x2, Alli and Son.

One to watch: Aston Villas tricky striker Jordan Ayew who scored against us this season at the lane in the reverse fixture.

Preview: Mauricio Pochettino’s men will face arguably their greatest test of the season when they face Dortmund this Thursday, in the round of 16 of the Europa league. Despite our exceptional triumphs this season and excellent form we will enter this tie as underdogs, with Dortmund possessing some of the finest players in Europe, hence why they are the bookmakers favourites for the competition. Dortmund’s attacking line includes two of the worlds most highly regarded players, the goal machine Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Marco Reus a technical genius and highly creative footballer. If the lads are to have any chance of progressing in the competition then Pochettino will have to field a full strength squad, which is by no means ideal as we are battling for the league title at the same time. However, if this season has taught us something than its to expect the unexpected, and if our incredible lads were to stun the electric atmosphere of the Dortmund stadium and nick a win, then we should not be in total shock. COYS⚽️

Team news: Dele Alli is suspended for this tie after picking up the maximum amount of yellows before one is issued a one match suspension and Eric Dier has not travelled either as Pochettino rests the 22 year old. Danny Rose will be absent due to a minor injury, and the 25 year old is unlikely to travel with the squad. In addition despite very good progress and a recent return to training Clinton Njié will not be in the squad for this match. Whilst Jan Vertonghen is still recuperating from his injury. Ben Davies and Kieran Trippier are likely to start at fullback after not starting in the north London derby at the weekend whilst Son will fill in for Alli to make up the attacking three as he’ll look to use his Bundesliga experience to help defeat Dortmund on Thursday night.
My team prediction: (4-2-3-1)
Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Davies, Dembele, Mason, Son, Eriksen, Lamela, Kane.

My score prediction: Borussia Dortmund 2-2 Spurs with goals from Mason and Son.

One to watch: Dortmund’s lightning fast and prolific striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Preview: Never has there been a bigger north London derby than tomorrow’s eagerly anticipated clash. Three points separate us from the gooners, and with a premier league title at stake there couldn’t be a greater hunger than the one that the players will feel tomorrow, with a win for Spurs potentially putting them top depending on Leicester city’s result. Pochettino’s men fell to a hugely disappointing defeat on Wednesday evening in a different London derby against West Ham, and the Argentine knows that it is paramount to seal victory against our long time foes in this even more important match. Arsene Wenger’s side also lost in midweek at the hands of Swansea and the Frenchman will be feeling the pressure as he looks for none other than a victory at our home ground. Expect there to be an extremely fiery display from each set of players and fans, I believe this may well be the most explosive and exciting north London derby that football has ever witnessed. Furthermore, rivalries aside a treat lyes in store. COYS⚽️

Team news: Dembele has made good progress from his groin injury and may well be involved on Saturday. However the derby comes too soon for the recuperating Vertonghen and Njié. Rose and Walker will occupy the full back positions, having been
rotated in midweek. Whilst Alli will likely return to the attacking line as he has recovered from his minor foot injury, the youngsters passion and skill may well be the difference in this north London derby.

My team prediction: (4-2-3-1)
Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Rose, Dembele, Dier, Son, Alli, Eriksen, Kane

My score prediction: 3-2 to Spurs courtesy of goals from Dembele, Alli and Kane.

One to watch: Arsenal’s midfield artist and assist specialist, Mesut Özil.

Live coverage: BBC radio London

Match preview: How fitting it is that our last ever meeting against the Hammers at the Boleyn ground,is our most important yet. The Lillywhites will aim for the all important victory as we look to take the top spot. However this match is not the only north London derby this week,as on Saturday we host Arsenal at the lane in what is a contest of phenomenal value. That in minds, the lads will face a psychological battle just as challenging as the physical endeavour facing them as they must keep highly focused in such times of elation, with Leicester drawing last night meaning a win tonight would put us top. However big the occasion this strong and resilient Spurs can most definitely defeat this tough West Ham side, and if they replicate their second half heroics against Swansea then there is no doubt who the favourites are.COYS⚽️

Team news: Tom Carroll will return to the squad for our trip to east London, after recovering from his Achilles injury. Whilst Dele Alli accidently hit his foot into the turf in the warm up against Swansea on Sunday, the medical staff will determine if he is to be involved for tonight’s match. Meanwhile, the trio of Dembele,Vertonghen and Njié all remain sidelined for this fixture.

My team prediction: (4-2-3-1)
(C)Lloris,Trippier,Alderweireld,Wimmer,Davies,Dier,Mason,Lamela,Eriksen,Son,Kane

My score prediction: 2-1 Spurs courtesy of goals from Lamela and Dier.
One to watch:(Dmitri Payet) West Hams aesthetically gifted attacking midfielder.

Match preview: Spurs will go in to this vital premier league encounter against Swansea in high confidence, after their demolition of Fiorentina in mid week. We face a Swansea side at the lane who have struggled for form and goals throughout the season, anything other than three points would leave the Spurs fans in utter disbelief. However, that in itself puts a lot of pressure on the players, but I believe our tenacity and talent across all positions shall overwhelm the Swans. Furthermore,I believe that the hunger for the title amongst the squad will only make them better and with so many players on form, Sunday should prove to be a glorious affair for the lillywhites.

One to watch:The talented former Spurs man; (Gylfi Sigurdsson)

Team news:Kane may start after missing Thursday’s game with a broken nose,Carroll is a doubt whilst Dembele,Vertonghen and Njié are all absentees. Walker and Rose will return to the full back positions. Lamela may retain his place on the wing after his impressive Thursday night display.

My predicted team line up: (4-2-3-1) Lloris,Walker,Alderweireld,Wimmer,Rose,Dier,Mason,Lamela,Alli,Eriksen,Kane.

My score prediction: 4-0 Spurs courtesy of goals from Lamela x2,Kane and Rose.

Match preview:The lads will be looking to make amends after crashing out of the FA cup at the weekend, and they have the perfect opportunity to do so when they face Fiorentina at the lane this Thursday in the second leg of our Europa league round of 32 tie.Having drawn the first leg in Florence one all we hold the advantage going in to the return tie however slender it may be.An early lead is most paramount for our encounter with La viola, if a replication of events from the palace game were to be the case again the outcome would be ghastly, for Fiorentina to take the lead at any stage would cause utter frustration for our attack. The lads would most probably be suppressed for the entirety of the match and Fiorentina ‘s expertise in this sector would likely spell our elimination from this competition.

One to watch:Khouma Babacar

Team news:There are a cluster of fresh injury concerns ahead our clash with the Serie A side.Harry Kane broke his nose against Palace and will be out for tomorrow’s game after having an operation today. In addition Dembele suffered a groin injury in the same game and is expected to be out for a minimum of 10 days,Tom Carroll also remains sidelined though is expected to be back in action next week.Whilst Jan Vertonghen and Clinton again remain sidelined. Furthermore,Kane’s absence is likely to see Son start up front whilst Lloris will return in goal after his recovery from injury.Alderweireld will partner Wimmer in the defence and Mason may start in place of the injured Dembele.

My team predictions:(4-2-3-1) Lloris,Trippier,Alderweireld,Wimmer,Davies,Dier,Mason,Lamela,Alli,Eriksen,Son.

My score prediction:3-1 to Spurs courtesy of goals from Lamela x2 and Son.

Preview:
Our high flying lads face familiar opposition in the Europa league round of 32 tie against Fiorentina, having faced them at the same stage last season. However, we are the polar opposite this time round and to a lesser degree so are La viola. Last years memories were not fond ones, but this time around the Serie A club will no doubt be feeling perturbed, with us winning our last seven games in a row and becoming huge title contenders we are definitely a force to be reckoned with. Pochettino is likely to rotate the squad with a cluster of players expected to be rested, yet Pochettino also stressed the importance of this match and the tournament in general but with Crystal Palace on Sunday in the FA Cup,expect there to be a few key players rested.Paulo Sousa’s men posses a broad group of talent and the Italian giants will undoubtedly be another huge test for our players, La viola sit in third position in a highly competitive Serie A and hold the second-best home record in the league this season. The inform Nikola Kalinić formerly of Blackburn Rovers has been on very good form this current season netting on numerous occasions and will provide a tough test for our defenders. An away goal is vital to take home with us for the second leg at the lane, and after the Man City result on Sunday Pochettino and the players have us all believing that anything is capable and the lads for certain will not be fazed.

One to watch:Nikola Kalinić image.jpeg

Team news:Jan Vertonghen and Clinton Njié again remain sidelined, whilst Lloris has not travelled because of a shoulder injury which could also rule him out of Sunday’s cup tie, Vorm will deputise. The full back positions again could be rotated with Ben Davies and Kieran Trippier likely to start, also Harry Kane may be replaced with Son up front as could key centre back Toby Alderweireld’s place in the starting eleven with Dier dropping back to central defence.Ryan Mason could also return to action in the midfield after having recovered from his injury.

My predicted starting 11: (4-2-3-1) Lloris,Davies,Wimmer,Dier,Trippier,Mason,Bentaleb,Chadli,Eriksen,Lamela,Son.

Score prediction:2-1 Spurs with goals from Chadli and Onomah.

Referee:Mark Clattenburg
Live coverage:Sky Sports 1 and BBC radio 5 live.

Preview:The lads will walk out on to the Etihad pitch this Sunday afternoon with the hunger of winners in their stomach,as they look to make it seven wins out of seven and to cement their place at the top end of the table. Furthermore, the echoes of past glory will ring loudly in the players ears, as the fans gather the belief that this group of players can fiercely challenge for the league title. However, we face a Manchester City side that posses a host of world class pedigree, with the formidable Sergio Agüero and Yaya Touré amongst a cluster of the talent that the billionaires have on their books. Toby Alderweireld and Kevin Wimmer will face arguably their greatest challenge yet, as the sheer artistry of Agüero awaits them. The Argentine already has fourteen league goals to his name this season. However daunting the opposition may seem our players are as always more than capable of flattening the highly inconsistent Lancashire club, as we showed expertly in our early season triumph at the lane as we won 4-1 against the sky blues. Till Sunday at least we can relax, until the most important game of our season takes place this Valentine’s Day.COYS⚽️

Sergio Agüero:image

Team news:Jan Vertonghen and Clinton Njié again miss out through injury. The rotation of the full backs is again likely to take place as Pochettino will look to inject more pace in to our game, with Walker and Rose likely to return to the starting eleven. Son may return to the wing in place for Érik Lamela.

My prediction:3-2 Spurs with goals from Rose,Alli and Son.
My predicted lineup: 4-4-4-1: Lloris,Walker,Alderweireld,Wimmer,Rose,Eriksen,Dier,Dembele,Son,Alli,Kane

Spurs v Watford match preview:

Match preview:

Spurs v Watford

Venue: White Hart Lane

Date: Saturday 4th of February 15:00

Head2heads: Last three matches against Watford: 2-1 Spurs, 1-0 Spurs, 2-1 Spurs.

Live coverage: Not being broadcasted in the uk, live updates provide on the @Spursofficial Twitter feed.

Preview: We go into this match on the back of five straight wins and we face Watford at the lane this Saturday. The hornets are a very well structured side and have hugely impressed in the Premier league this season under the leadership of Quique Sánchez Flores. The newly promoted side have well surpassed the expectation of avoiding relegation and sit comfortably in 9th position in the league table. The formidable striking partnership of Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney have netted 20 times in the league between them this season, and our defence will have a massive job on their hands trying to keep the two of them at bay in what will be a huge test for the lads. Consistency is key and Spurs have been in excellent form of late with Kane firing on all four cylinders and the rest of the side having performed exceptionally of late. We are certainly very capable of defeating the hornets on Saturday in what shall be an intriguing battle.COYS⚽️

Team news: Ryan Mason is likely to be on the bench as he is back fit again after recovering from a lengthy injury. Meanwhile, Dele Alli will undergo scans next week in the hope of solving what caused his dizziness against Norwich in midweek, but he is still likely to feature on Saturday. However, Jan Vertonghen and Clinton Njie remain injured. In regards to the starting eleven the two fullbacks could be rotated with Davies and Trippier looking to come back into the team. Whilst Lamela could replace Son on the right wing.

My prediction: 2-1 Spurs with goals from Lamela and Kane.image.jpeg

Formidable striking duo Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo are the ones to watch this Saturday afternoon.

Tottenham Hotspur v Crystal Palace

Venue: Selhurst park

Date: Saturday 23 January 3:00pm

Live coverage: Absolute radio

Head 2 heads:  Last 3 meetings- Tottenham 1-0,Crystal palace2-1,Tottenham0-Cpa0.

Preview:We go into this game on a high after our 2-0 victory over Leicester in the FA cup in midweek. An added bonus is Crystal Palace’s poor form of late, having  failed to win in their last four league matches and also struggling for goals of recent. Yet Palace are no pushovers this season having accumulated an impressive amount of points under the leadership of Alan Pardew they have surprised many by their consistency and strength especially against top sides in the league this season, and we know all to well the challenge that we’ll be up against tomorrow afternoon. Having fought off the Eagles at white Hart lane earlier in the season, they proved hard to break down and there explosive pace and creativity provided us with a very tough test,  although we ultimately managed to defeat them 1-0 courtesy  Of a Heung min Son goal.

A reshuffle is expected in the squad tomorrow with the defensive pairing of Toby and Jan returning and the rested Hugo Lloris. Moussa was also given a rest midweek and is expected to return in midfield with Eric Dier, however it is unknown whether Heung-Min Son’s excellent midweek performance will see him start in place of Erik Lamela who could with a rest and it is predicted Danny Rose will return as left back having been rested mid week. Elsewhere the injury list stays the same with Ryan Mason,Alex Pritchard and Clinton all out.

My predicted line up: image.png

My score prediction: 2-1 Spurs with goals from Dier and Kane.
