Preview: Never has there been a bigger north London derby than tomorrow’s eagerly anticipated clash. Three points separate us from the gooners, and with a premier league title at stake there couldn’t be a greater hunger than the one that the players will feel tomorrow, with a win for Spurs potentially putting them top depending on Leicester city’s result. Pochettino’s men fell to a hugely disappointing defeat on Wednesday evening in a different London derby against West Ham, and the Argentine knows that it is paramount to seal victory against our long time foes in this even more important match. Arsene Wenger’s side also lost in midweek at the hands of Swansea and the Frenchman will be feeling the pressure as he looks for none other than a victory at our home ground. Expect there to be an extremely fiery display from each set of players and fans, I believe this may well be the most explosive and exciting north London derby that football has ever witnessed. Furthermore, rivalries aside a treat lyes in store. COYS⚽️
Team news: Dembele has made good progress from his groin injury and may well be involved on Saturday. However the derby comes too soon for the recuperating Vertonghen and Njié. Rose and Walker will occupy the full back positions, having been
rotated in midweek. Whilst Alli will likely return to the attacking line as he has recovered from his minor foot injury, the youngsters passion and skill may well be the difference in this north London derby.
My team prediction: (4-2-3-1)
Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Rose, Dembele, Dier, Son, Alli, Eriksen, Kane
My score prediction: 3-2 to Spurs courtesy of goals from Dembele, Alli and Kane.
One to watch: Arsenal’s midfield artist and assist specialist, Mesut Özil.
