After a comprehensive victory over Hull in midweek, Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs side will be looking to make it two wins in two when they face Burnley at the Lane on Sunday. The lads face a Burnley side that have picked up only one point on the road, scoring just the one goal on their travels this season. However, Sean Dyche’s side will certainly be no pushovers on Sunday, Dyche has the clarets very well structured and they have already put in some highly impressive performances this season, including a 2-0 victory over Liverpool back in September. The Lancashire club sit in 13th place in the league and I am a great admirer of Dyche’s side and I strongly believe that they will stay up this season. Burnley have a tenacious defence with former Man united defender Michael Keane at the heart of it, in addition the clarets also have the superb Tom Heaton in nets, Heaton has been in outstanding form this season, making some outstanding saves. Burnley’s main goal threat will come from pacey forward Andre Gray.

I am hoping that Pochettino starts with the same (3-4-2-1) formation that he used on Wednesday as I believe this formation would be equally as effective against Burnley on Sunday. With Rose and Walker likely to cause the visitors problems if they are played higher up the field, with both having the pace to beat fullbacks Stehen Ward and Matthew Lowton. It is important that we stamp our authority on the game from the offing tomorrow, with Burnley likely to be looking for a point, but with an early goal or two we could easily put the game to bed. However, I am expecting a very tough match tomorrow with few goals in it. COYS

Team news: Erik Lamela is out whilst both Mousa Dembele and Vincent Janssen are doubts for Sundays match.

My predicted line up: (3-4-2-1) Lloris, Dier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Wanyama, Eriksen, Walker, Rose, Son, Alli, Kane,

My predicted score: 2-0 to Spurs courtesy of goals from Eriksen and Kane.

Welcome back: Former Spurs players, Paul Robinson and Dean Marney.

One to watch: Burnley’s creative central midfielder, Jeff Hendrick. The Republic of Ireland international has a terrific shot at his disposal.

Tonight Spurs face Premier league strugglers Hull City at the lane in a game in which Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs side will be looking for only one thing, three points. Today Pochettino spoke about Spurs’s chances of winning the league, with the Argentine adamant that Spurs are still in the title race despite the fact that they are 10 points off league leaders Chelsea. My personal belief is that If we are to challenge for the league title for a second consecutive season than we have got to pick up all three points against Hull and Burnley in our next two matches, if we can build up some momentum over the Christmas period, then I see no reason why we couldn’t go on another sensational run of form in to the new year. Tonights match will as always be a tough test, with Mike Phelan’s side in a relegation battle, the Tigers will likely fight tooth and nail for a point at the lane. Our defence must be cautious tonight with players like Robert Snodgrass, Abel Hernandez and Adama Diomande likely to cause problems up front.

I am confident that tonight will be an enjoyable night at the Lane for us Spurs fans, I believe we may see Pochettino  rotate a couple of players with Sissoko and Winks possibly coming into the team, but nonetheless we have the quality and tenacity to put the game to bed with a couple of early goals and hopefully the lane will be rocking. COYS

Team news: Mousa Dembele is the only fresh injury concern; the midfielder picked up a foot injury at Old Trafford on Sunday and will miss this evening’s match. Meanwhile, both Erik Lamela and Vincent Janssen remain side lined through injury.

My predicted starting line-up: Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Dier, Winks, Sissoko, Eriksen, Son, Kane.

My score prediction: 4-0 to Spurs courtesy of goals from Kane x2, Son and Alderweireld

One to watch: Our former captain, Hull city’s central defender and captain Michael Dawson.

This afternoons sees Spurs face Manchester United at Old Trafford in what will be an intriguing match for us Spurs fans. Mauricio Pochettino’s side ended their Wembley curse in midweek, beating CSKA Moscow 3-1 in Spurs’s last champions league match of the campaign. A victory in today’s match would see Spurs move up to fourth in the table, but we all know a victory will be hard to come by with Jose Mourinho’s classy side unbeaten in their last ten home matches. I’m hoping the lads can keep the momentum up and a victory today would leave us in a great position ahead of a string of matches in the festive period. COYS

My predicted lineup: Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Dier, Dembele, Eriksen, Alli, Son, Kane.

My score prediction: 2-1 to Spurs courtesy of goals from Harry Kane and Dele Alli.

One to watch: Paul Pogba, Manchester United’s world class central midfielder who was signed by united for a world record transfer fee in the summer of 2016.

Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs play their final UEFA champions league match of the season on Wednesday night as they face CSKA Moscow at Wembley stadium, with the Lillywhites looking to secure Europa league football with a third placed finish. After a poor run of form stretching over a period of ten matches, Spurs returned to winning ways with their 5-0 thrashing of Swansea, on Saturday at the lane. Tonights encounter with CSKA Moscow will provide Spurs with the opportunity to get rid of the disappointment of being knocked out of the champions league with a draw tonight, enough to send the Lilywhites into the hat for the round of 32, of Europe’s second biggest club competition, the Europa league. Mauricio Pochettino will be the first one to admit his great disappointment in Spurs’s unexpected failure to progress from their group, one that they were widely fancied to top. The fans and players alike will still be wondering where it all went wrong for Spurs in Europe this season.

IMG_2047.JPG

Tonights match at Wembley is a golden opportunity for the lads to win some silverware this season, if we can get in to the Europa league then we will undoubtedly be one of the favourites and our pedigree and European experience will leave us in a really good position. Playing in the Europa league will be a learning curve for Pochettino’s young side, with teams of the calibre of Zenit St Petersburg, Athletic Bilbao, Ajax and Roma just some of the sides that have qualified for the knockout stages. We were never going to win the champions league this season, but in the Europa league we have the chance add some silverware to our cabinet. Come May the 24th I hope that the lads will be in Solna taking part in the final of the Europa league. COYS

Team news: Good news for Mauricio Pochettino, as Toby Alderweireld is back after returning from injury. However, Erik Lamela, Ben Davies and Vincent Janssen will all miss tonight’s match through injury.

My predicted lineup: (4-2-3-1) Lloris, Walker, Dier, Vertonghen, Rose, Wanyama, Dembele, Sissoko, Alli, Son, Kane.

My predicted score: 3-0 to Spurs courtesy of goals from Kane x2 and Sissoko.

Saturday sees Spurs return to action following a two week international break, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side face West Ham united in a London Derby at the Lane. The lads will be eager to return to winnings ways, with the Lillywhites without a win in their last seven matches in all competitions. The Hammers are also out of form, Slaven Bilić’a side have recorded just 11 points from 11 league matches this season. However, despite their poor form the Hammers pose a significant threat and will provide tough opposition, with players like Dmitri Payet, Michail Antonio and Andre Ayew at their disposal. We may have quite a few injuries at the moment but I have a feeling that Spurs will produce a very good performance this evening, were long overdue a big win and there’s no better place for it than under the lights at the lane with the players being buoyed on by an electric atmosphere. COYS

Team news: Toby Alderweireld, Erik Lamela and Ben Davies will all miss this evenings match through injury, whilst Mousa Dembele, Vincent Janssen, Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and Danny Rose are all doubts.
My predicted lineup: (4-2-3-1) Lloris, Walker, Wimmer, Vertonghen, Rose, Dier, Dembele, Son, Alli, Eriksen, Kane.

My score prediction 3-1 to Spurs courtesy of goals from Harry Kane x2 and Mousa Dembele.

Despite having a good start to the season Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs side are without a win in five matches, and the Lillywhites will be desperate to win against Bayer Leverkusen in tonights important Champions league match. Leverkusen were a tough side to play against two weeks ago at the Bay arena and the German clubs attacking style of play caused us many problems. Tonight’s big game comes just four days before the north London Derby but our lads can defeat Leverkusen tonight without a shadow of a doubt and with an electric atmosphere the fans can spur the lads on to a victory tonight in front of a sea of Lillywhite. Leverkusen have a fantastic attack but I reckon we can find our way past their defence and grab a vital three points. COYS

Team news: Despite returning to full training yesterday Harry Kane won’t feature tonight, neither will Toby Alderweireld who remains injured. Meanwhile Erik Lamela could also miss tonight’s match after picking up a small hip injury in training.
My predicted lineup: (4-2-3-1) Lloris, Trippier, Dier, Vertonghen, Rose, Wanyama, Dembele, Nkoudou, Alli, Son, Janssen.

Venue: Hotspur Way
Date: Friday 28th October 12:00pm
Live: MUTV

This afternoon Spurs under 23’s face Manchester United’s development squad at Hotspur way in the PL2, Ugo Ehiogu’s side have struggled for form this season with numerous players having been missing through injury. Today’s encounter with the Red Devil’s will be a fascinating match, it will be intriguing to see how our development squad fare against Warren Joyce’s talented pool of players. With a whole load of talented prospects on their books such as Axel Tuanzebe and Regan Poole, today’s match will be yet another very tough test for the Lillywhites who have yet to find their rhythm this season, a big negative for Spurs is that the talented Marcus Edwards is out injured. However, I still feel that Spurs have the players to get a result against Man United at Hotspur Way.

My predicted lineup: Glover, Walker-Peters, Walkes, Maghoma, Muscatt, Amos,Pritchard, Tracey, Goddard, Georgiou, Harrison.

One to watch: Manchester United’s talented young centre back Axel Tuanzebe.

Head2Heads: 1-1, 1-1, 0-0, 3-2 Liverpool, 3-0 Liverpool.

Liverpool were with out a doubt the toughest team that the lads have come up against this season, we faced Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side back in August and the reds attacking style of play and intensity caused us problems throughout the match, we were quite fortunate to end up drawing that game 1-1. Liverpool have been in red hot form this season, Klopp’s men have won eight of their eleven games that they have played in all competitions, and the reds have been playing superb pressing football, quite similar to ours in style. Anfield is a fortress and tonight’s game is going to be an incredibly tough one, regardless of the team Mauricio Pochettino fields I have full faith in his team selection and I know that we can defeat Klopp’s albeit with a youthful side. Klopp may also field a weakened side but Liverpools danger men Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane could all start. Liverpools defence is not their fortieth and our attack could cause many problems for the home side tonight. It’s going a fantastic occasion for the fans, with so many traveling up to Liverpool, the atmosphere at the world famous ground is going to be special and hopefully we can progress to the quarter finals of the EFL cup. COYS

Team news: Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld remain unavailable through injury whilst youngster Marcus Edwards has been ruled out for seven weeks through injury. Moussa Sissoko will also miss tonight’s match after the Frenchman was charged by the FA and given a three match ban for his elbow on Bournemouths Harry Arter at the weekend. Meanwhile the following youth players may well have traveled to Liverpool with the main squad, all the players were missing from Spurs under 23’s 2-0 defeat to Leicester on Monday evening. The players that were absent from Monday evenings PL2 match against Leicester were Kyle Walker-Peters, Alfie Whiteman, Anton Walkes, Shayon Harrison and Luke Amos.
My predicted lineup: (4-2-3-1) Vorm, Walker-Peters, Dier, Carter-Vickers, Davies, Wanyama, Winks, Onomah, Eriksen, Nkoudou, Son.

My predicted scoreline: 1-1 courtesy of a goal from Son and Spurs to win 2-1 in extra time courtesy of a winner from Eriksen.

One to watch: Liverpools inform winger Philippe Coutinho.

Tomorrow evening our development squad face Leicester city under 23’s at the King Power stadium in the PL2. Ugo Ehiogu’s side have struggled so far in the newly formed PL2, picking up just six points from seven games, but tomorrow evenings match presents a great chance to end their bad run and to boost their confidence in the process. The foxes development side have also struggled this season, they currently sit bottom of the table. Our under 21’s side defeated Leicester 3-0 in this fixture last season, and I believe that our under 23’s are the better team and should defeat the foxes tomorrow. I assume Tom Glover will be left out of tomorrow’s squad, the Australian goalkeeper was on international duty with the Socceroos under 19 squad, Australia were eliminated from the Asian u19 championship on Friday, so I doubt Glover will be ready to play tomorrrow. Our senior side play Liverpool on Tuesday night in the EFL cup, so its possible that a couple of younger players will travel up to Merseyside with the main team. I reckon Marcus Edwards and Shayon Harrison would be the most likely to travel. Although I wouldn’t be surprised if Kyle Walker-Peters and Anton Walkes were included in Pochettino’s squad.

My predicted lineup: (4-2-3-1) Whiteman, Walker-Peters, Owens, Walkes, Muscatt, Amos, Marsh, Tracey, Goddard, Georgiou, Loft.

One to watch: Leicesters talented striker Admiral Muskwe.

Venue: Vitality stadium
Date: Saturday 22nd October 12:30pm

Referee: Craig Pawson
Head2Heads: 3-0 Spurs, 5-1 Spurs.

Later today Spurs face Bournemouth at the Vitality stadium as Mauricio Pochettino’s side look to return to winning ways after having drawn their last two matches. Spurs face a tough test on the south coast as Eddie Howe’s attacking side have a potent attack with the likes of Callum Wilson, Josh King and Jordan Ibe all on the cherries books. We defeated Bournemouth 5-1 in this fixture last season but today’s game will be a trickier contest, Howe’s team are now an established premier league side and the Lillywhites are missing two of their most important players through injury. However, I do believe that we will defeat the Cherries fairly comfortably as I reckon our attacking prowess will prove too much for Howe’s side. COYS

Team news: Harry Kane and Toby Alderweireld both remain sidelined through injury whilst fullback Danny Rose is a doubt after picking up a foot injury in Leverkusen on Tuesday.

My predicted lineup: (4-2-3-1) Lloris, Walker, Wimmer, Vertonghen, Davies, Dembele, Wanyama, Eriksen, Alli, Son, Janssen.

My predicted scoreline: 3-0 to Spurs courtesy of goals from Son x2 and Christian Eriksen.

One to watch: Bournemouths prolific striker Callum Wilson.
