Head2Heads: Colchester 0- Tottenham 0 (friendly in 2011)
Preview:We go into this cup tie in a buoyant mood, with us winning 3 on the trot, the morale is high within the squad, and on the terraces the fans are singer louder than ever with joy. We make the short journey to Essex with a cluster of players expected not to be involved due to our Premier league tie on Tuesday against Norwich, however Pochettino’s selection shall most probably be a strong and youthful 11 that will get the job done. Colchester are near the bottom of league 1 and their form hasn’t been good of recent, however they will be no pushovers and they have some good players in their squad. Marvin Sordell for one, scored against us for Burnley in the Fa cup last season, in addition they also have the talented former West Ham youth player George Moncur who is also one to watch out for in the centre of the park. Although our quality should shine through and provide us with a comfortable victory over the League1 side, yet this is the FA cup after all.
Meanwhile; Jan Vertonghen, Ryan Mason, Alex Pritchard and Clinton Njie are all out injured.
My predicted line up:
My score prediction: 5-0 Spurs with goals from Carrollx2,Chadlix2 and Son.
