Spurs v Manchester City: (match preview)
Venue: White Hart Lane
Date: Sunday 2nd October 14:15 pm

Head2Heads: 2-1 Spurs, 4-1 Spurs, 1-0 Man City, 4-1 Man City, 5-1 Man City.
Later today Spurs face league leaders Manchester City at the lane in what will undoubtedly be the Lillywhites toughest game of the season so far. Mauricio Pochettino’s side face Pep Guardiola’s in form blues who have started the season exceptional fashion under the Spaniard, Man City have started the league campaign in perfect fashion with six wins from six matches and have at times seemed unstoppable going forward. City’s possession based style of play combined withtheir potent attack will cause us problems, the pace and trickery of Raheem Sterling, the creativity of David Silva, as well as the clinical nature of Sergio Agüero will all be massive obstacles to overcome. However, Pochettino’s young side have demonstrated their resilience on many occasions and with Son on top form as well as a whole host of other players, we may just maybe defeat Man City for a second season in a row. Team news: Harry Kane is again ruled out through an ankle injury, whilst Danny Rose, Eric Dier, Mousa Dembélé and Moussa Sissoko are all doubts through injury.
My predicted lineup: (4-2-3-1) Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Dier, Wanyama, Eriksen, Alli, Son, Janssen.
My predicted scoreline: 3-1 to Spurs courtesy of goals from Son x2 and Dele Alli. Man City’s defence isn’t their strong point, and Guardiola’s side have shown their vulnerability at the back conceding three goals to Celtic in midweek. I have a feeling that our sides tireless work rate will catch Man City’s defence out, and I reckon that the highly energetic Son can impress further for Spurs, and the South Korean international certainly has the capability to do so this afternoon.
One to watch: One of the Worlds most talented strikers, Sergio Agüero.
