Head2Heads: Spurs 4-1, Spurs 1-0, Spurs 2-1, 2-2, 5-1.

Tomorrow Mauricio Pochettino’s side are in action against Sunderland at the lane as they look to put Wednesdays defeat against Monaco behind them with victory over the Black Cats. Spurs face Sunderland at a good time with the visitors having started the season poorly and are still in search of their first win in the league in this campaign. Despite Sunderlands bad record against Spurs over recent seasons, David Moyes’s side will undoubtedly provide a tough challenge for the Lillywhites as the black cats have some talented players on their books. Notably former Spurs legend Jermain Defoe who is one of the most talented strikers in the league at the moment, in addition Patrick Van Aanholt is an excellent attacking left back who likes to get forward and score goals. David Moyes will likely have his side defending from the minute go as they’ll aim to take a point back with them, regardless of their stance the lads will have to perform tomorrow if we are to record another win in the league this season, which in doing so would take us up to fourth in the table.

Team news: Our only absentee is the injured Danny Rose, as Ben Davies will deputise at left back. Meanwhile I reckon Mousa Dembele will start in the centre of midfield, in addition I believe that Pochettino will give Moussa Sissoko his first start for the Lillywhites. The Frenchman who made a good cameo in midweek would be a good option down the right wing as he has the pace, power and skill to cause many problems for left back Van Aanholt.

My predicted lineup: (4-2-3-1) Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Dembele, Dier, Sissoko, Alli, Eriksen, Kane.

My predicted scoreline: 5-0 Spurs courtesy of a hat trick from Harry Kane, one goal from Moussa Sissoko and the other for Vincent Janssen.

One to watch: club legend Jermain Defoe who has two goals in the league this season.
