Yesterday afternoon Spurs defeated Stoke city 4-0 at the Bet365 stadium, defeating Mark Hughes side in scintillating fashion, the Lillywhites had a flawless display and repeated last seasons scoreline against the potters with an equally outstanding performance. The potters had the ball in the back of the net after just five minutes after Marko Arnautovic received a pass from Gianelli Imbula inside the box before firing the ball past Lloris and into the back of the net however, the Austrian international was ruled offside. 15 minutes later Spurs were unfortunate not to be given a penalty after Son was brought down by Geoff Cameron after he clipped Son in the box. On the half hour mark Dele Alli went desperately close to giving Spurs the lead after the 20 year old received the ball inside the box with just the keeper to beat, but Alli dragged the ball agonisingly wide of the post. We were controlling the game and our creativity paid off as Son broke the deadlock shortly before half time. After some great work on the right wing from Eriksen the Dane crossed the ball to the unmarked Son who volleyed home with a smart finish from inside the box to make it 1-0 to Spurs.

Heung Min-Son doubled our lead in the 56th minute following Eriksen again creating the goal after he passed the ball through to Son, who on the edge of the box hit a wonderfully accurate effort which went high in to the back of the net to put the Lillywhites 2-0 up. A mere three minutes later we put the game out of sight after Dele Alli netted our third of the game, following a fantastic move. Kyle Walker went on a surging run down the right wing before setting up Alli, who on the edge of the penalty area tucked the ball into the back of the net to finish off a fine move. A little over ten minutes later the lads wrapped up a tremendous victory with a fourth goal through Harry Kane. Kane received a pass in the in the box from Son before he controlled and slotted home, the final score Spurs 4-0 Stoke. It was a tremendous and truly flawless display from Spurs yesterday, every single player played excellently.
