Spurs will be looking for another win against West Brom this Monday night as they entertain the West Midlands side at White Hart Lane, Mauricio Pochettino’s side cannot afford anything other than the three points. As the Argentine’s side look to narrow the distance between themselves and Leicester city with only four league games remaining for both sides. Tony Pulis’s side are without a league win in five games, and despite being comfortably placed with 40 points in 15th position, the baggies will undoubtedly be looking to cause an upset as they look to end the season on their highest overall points tally in premier league history. Spurs know all to well how tough Monday night will be after they only managed a draw against West Brom in the reverse fixture this season, as Pulis’s men battled to the last and showed great resilience and tenacity to get the point against the high flying Lillywhites. However last Monday’s demolition of Stoke showcased how great we are as a side and with eleven men at the top of their game and a top class manager in the dugout, Monday night should be another win recorded for Pochettino’s stars.
Team news: The same eleven that started last weeks thrashing against Stoke, are likely to start again on Monday evening and Pochettino will have an almost full squad to choose from with the exception of the injured Nabil Bentaleb.
My predicted lineup: (4-2-3-1) Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Dier, Dembele, Lamela, Alli, Eriksen, Kane.
My predicted scoreline: 5-0 Spurs courtesy of goals from Kane x2, Dembele, Eriksen and Nacer Chadli.
One to watch: West Brom’s target man and top scorer in the premier league this season with seven goals and three assists, José Salomón Rondón.
