Preview: We face Bourenmouth at the lane this Sunday in what is yet another must win fixture as we continue to battle for the league title, in this roller coaster ride of a Premier league season. The south coast club have been full of surprises this season and the cherries currently sit 13 points clear of the relegation zone as they look to continue their fine run of form against Pochettino’s men tomorrow afternoon. Despite losing two-one against Dormtund on Thursday Pochettino will no doubt be confident that our strongest eleven can defeat the cherries at the lane. However, Bourenmouth have many players that can cause the Lillywhites a whole host of problems, including the offensive trio of Max Gradel, Benik Afobe and Josh King, who will undoubtedly be on top of our back fours agenda against the nonchalant and fearless Bournemouth. Eddie Howe’s side play with great flair and they’ll look to implement their attacking philosophy on tomorrow afternoons match.
A strong defensive performance is key as Alderweireld and Wimmer will be essential to keeping Afobe at bay, whilst Kane will be hoping to add to his current seasons tally of 19 league goals in this fixture as we look to sink the high flying cherries. COYS⚽️
Team news: Ben Davies is out for this one after suffering concussion on Thursday night, whilst Vertonghen and Njié are ruled out through injury as is Nabil Bentaleb. However, the influential pairing of Dembele and Eriksen are fit to return for this critical fixture.
My predicted line up: (4-2-3-1) Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Wimmer, Rose, Dier, Dembele, Lamela, Alli, Eriksen, Kane.
My predicted score: 4-2 Spurs with goals from Kane x3 and Alderweireld .
One to watch: Bournemouth’s prolific centre forward, Benik Afobe.
