Spurs v Norwich match preview:
Venue: Carrow road
Date: February 2nd 19:45 pm
Live coverage: Not being broadcasted in the UK. However there are live updates on the @Spursofficial Twitter feed.
Match preview: Our form of late has showed just how vast our talent with in the squad is, as Mauricio Pochettino is able to rotate a successful side, we’ve won 4 on the bounce now. However the Canaries stand in our way of making it 5 in a row. A couple of players will return to action following being rested against colchester on Saturday, most notably Dele Alli who will return for this evening’s game. Every game is imperative at this stage of the season and beating Norwich tonight is paramount to us strengthening our place in the top four. However the canaries have shown that they’ve got goals in them as they exhibited in their 5-4 defeat against Liverpool recently. Their attack tonight will provide a threat to our defence, Mbokani,Naismith and Redmond have 12 goals combined in the league this season and new signing Patrick Bamford will be looking to open his account tonight. The pace of Robbie Brady on the left flank will see Kyle Walker likely return at right back, the Canaries manager Alex Neil has Norwich playing fast attacking football which can carve open the defence if executed correctly. Norwich showed at White Hart Lane in December just how dangerous they are on the break but we were able to overcome their technique and ran out comfortable 3-0 winners on the day. We’ll being looking to replicate that scoreline tonight although it will be a challenge with Norwich fighting for their Premier League status and desperate not to get beat, were up against it but we’re also very capable of getting those 3 points tonight and the players will be raring to go.
