Spurs publish released players list:
Moments ago Spurs published a list containing the players who have been released from the club following the expiry of their contracts. The list includes Emmanuel Sonupe, Sonupe was an under 21 player last season and the youngster was a tricky right winger with bags of pace, Sonupe spent some time on loan at St Mirren in the 2014/15 season. In addition, under 18 striker Armani Daly who had been on trial with QPR this season has also been released. As well as central midfielder and first year scholar Charlie Hayford, who has also been released, Hayford was on trial with Crystal Palace earlier in the season. Finally young right back Christopher Paul has been released however, Paul was already signed by QPR a couple of weeks earlier. We wish all of them the very best of luck in the future.

It was my understanding that Tom Carroll’s contract was in its last year. Unless I was misinformed either he has earned a new contract or he had a clause in which his contract can be extended by a further year at the end of his current contract.

I believe he has a clause that can activate a further two years. However, I may be wrong.
