Preview: We go into this match on the back of five straight wins and we face Watford at the lane this Saturday. The hornets are a very well structured side and have hugely impressed in the Premier league this season under the leadership of Quique Sánchez Flores. The newly promoted side have well surpassed the expectation of avoiding relegation and sit comfortably in 9th position in the league table. The formidable striking partnership of Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney have netted 20 times in the league between them this season, and our defence will have a massive job on their hands trying to keep the two of them at bay in what will be a huge test for the lads. Consistency is key and Spurs have been in excellent form of late with Kane firing on all four cylinders and the rest of the side having performed exceptionally of late. We are certainly very capable of defeating the hornets on Saturday in what shall be an intriguing battle.COYS⚽️
Team news: Ryan Mason is likely to be on the bench as he is back fit again after recovering from a lengthy injury. Meanwhile, Dele Alli will undergo scans next week in the hope of solving what caused his dizziness against Norwich in midweek, but he is still likely to feature on Saturday. However, Jan Vertonghen and Clinton Njie remain injured. In regards to the starting eleven the two fullbacks could be rotated with Davies and Trippier looking to come back into the team. Whilst Lamela could replace Son on the right wing.
My prediction: 2-1 Spurs with goals from Lamela and Kane.
Formidable striking duo Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo are the ones to watch this Saturday afternoon.
